“ Found myself in this wonderful little town for work recently. I was going to the courthouse and saw this restaurant across the street and decided to eat lunch there. The restaurant is very homey and like an old southern restaurant. I mean that in a very endearing way. The people were very friendly as well. We got there before noon and there weren't many people there, as expected. But once noon hit the whole town came in! Clearly the place to be here lol. The food was fantastic. It's cafeteria style so you just walk down the row and tell them what you want on your plate. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cream corn, corn bread and red velvet cake. Everything was very good. Price was very affordable as well. Overall great place to eat if you find yourself in this quaint town. ”

“ Small town, southern country cooking, extra greasy, I mean, crispy chicken, catfish, Mac-n-cheese, green beans, black eyed peas & more. Folk come here for the food & fellowship more than the decor. Grab your Reynolds wrap dessert, then tray & silverware. Step up, slide your tray along & tell them what you want. They'll fill up your plate, give you as many sides as you want (to pay for), get your drink, pay & sit. ”
“ Was cycling from Atlanta to Augusta and this was my halfway point for lunch..I was soaked from rain and hungry and found this gem on Yelp right off of 78.. After drying off and securing my bike I got on line for the lunch buffet. This place is a local go-to as many people were lining up whether working or just relaxing. Lunch buffet had many options even for vegetarians. I ended up with shrimp( I am pescatarian), mash, mac and cheese, greens and biscuits. I washed down the great home cookong with their homemade sweet tea. All for under $10.. The food was also homemade and nourishing. The sweet tea wasnt overly sweet and strongly brewed. Overall it was a great lunch for the next 40 miles I would spend on my bike.. Service was good and they wished me well when they saw I was biking. This is a nice little gem between atl and Augusta. ”
